The process of generating the Fiscal Ledger was entirely manual, dependent on the execution of complex scripts, and highly susceptible to human error.

With a highly manual, complex, and error-prone tax process, CERTACON faced a major challenge that directly compromised the efficiency and reliability of its operations. The generation of the Fiscal Ledger was carried out in three sequential phases through SQL Server, requiring the manual execution of multiple technical scripts based on limited input data.
This model not only increased the risk of human error but also created a strong dependency on specialized operators, making scalability difficult. Furthermore, the absence of an intuitive interface and the lack of integration between stages hindered agility, efficiency, and the reliability of tax reporting.
Automation: SDB implemented full automation of the SQL scripts across all three phases of generating the “Fiscal Ledger” table. This eliminated manual steps and standardized execution, drastically reducing human intervention and the risk of inconsistencies.
Modernization: An orchestrator was developed in .NET to manage the platform’s integrated automations. This technology not only enabled the triggering of scenarios with just a few clicks but also simplified access to the execution history, ensuring greater control and traceability of the tax process.
